Latus ad occasum, unquam rediturus ad ortum, Vivo hodie, moriar cras, here natus eram Winter is fading slowly Leaving behind its solemn whispers The flowing rush is growing From the perch, a man looks down His clothes are torn and tattered He's cleansed away the pain inside His heart's devoid of worry For he knows he will arrive Time slows to a quiet still With no concern for shallow judgement He has no pride to swallow As his journey waits for him He lets the voices guide him As they've guided him all before The sun shines upon him And his reflection shines below His spirit rises towards the sky Leaving only residue behind And born again, his light transcends The crowd watches as he says: "The fading of the sun shall mark my departure, To travel on to my father's land, The noble guardian shall protect my way, My ancestors are calling, I must go"

The Servant 06:07
Arrived with the storm To right the freedoms torn And to find the promised land Guiding them by your hand Gaze into fire The flames kiss the wire And eloquence matters not Cease your fear and travel on Pharaoh's heart shall melt Crumbled under spell Destroyer seek revenge Punish mortal man Infect the eldest sons To die one by one Under oath, leave this place I will lead on your way Go into the flood Split the sea of blood Tear the armies down Burn their godless towns Again, put them to sword

Ambivalence 08:34
I'm walking down the line I never thought that I'd be here I'm walking down the line I never thought that I'd be here Swimming through this stark confusion Euphoric laughter in the air To helpless feelings of despair Loss of stability bewildering I'm breathing in cold air The numbness getting hard to bear And racing to nowhere Seldom having reason to care But now the tides have turned around We sit so low upon the ground Surrounded every turn we take Perplexion at its core Indiscretion without remorse Caught in between a war Uncertain what it started for A paradox of crippled trust Can't justify the broken thoughts Cryptic reverence for a memory Emotions turn to stone Unable to shed a tear Yet patience surely grows As intolerance rings through my ears I'm walking down the line I never thought that I'd be here I'm walking down the line I never thought that I'd be here Swimming through this stark confusion

Another day Another lonely day (In this prison you've found) Just hold it in And keep on holding in (No one will understand) I feel the pain The pain it moves inside (Drifting into misery) And in my mind I know it's all in my mind (But you can't just escape) Locked inside this empty cell I find that all my true thoughts are unfurled (Give up) Damned to spend eternity In isolation banished from the world (I've given up on this) Each word they say It only digs my grave (Self fulfilling burden) I know they laugh They talk behind my back (Catalyzing your rage)  Locked inside this empty cell I find myself a victim of my mind (Hold on) Squirming, wrenching, never ending Aching mass of pain I hold inside (Keep holding onto this) I feel it leave The vital crimson leaves (Draining your strength away) And in my mind I know it's all in my mind But I can't just leave I cannot leave this place Locked inside this empty cell I find that all my true thoughts are unfurled (Give up) Damned to spend eternity In isolation banished from the world I've given up from here on

Make Amends 06:30
Don't be alarmed, it's not the end The metamorphosis begins The life abstained can now ascend I know exactly how it's going to end Everyone tries to make amends Avoid meeting their final end But in time we all will knowIf we were.... Running in circles We pray to the angels The children will thrive And the feeble survive As the world slowly crumbles We must ease the trouble Sedating the cowering mind Don't be alarmed by their demands An easy price for what's at hand So shed your fear and understand I know exactly how it's going to end Everyone tries to make amends Avoid meeting their final end But in time we all will know If we were.... Running in circles We pray to the angels The children will thrive And the feeble survive As the world slowly crumbles We must ease the trouble Sedating the cowering mind

Riding through the darkest forest Earth decays and shadows lurk Among the undergrowth and thicket The foreboding aura plagues me Hearkened to his letters so grim I approach the house to meet him Fissure splits the grey and molding No way to erase this feeling This haunting Luminescent figure wanders Silhouettes of tortured brother Vespers for her health and luster All in vain as sickness takes her Blank stare marks the lifeblood ending Soliloquies fill the empty Bleakness ever permeating No way to escape this feeling This haunting House of Usher Portrait of her I would save her If I could for you I would cure her If I could for you

Autumn is here Lacing the earth with frost Rain will encroach Shrouding morale with fog Time passes on Leaving behind those lost Shredding our hope Inhibiting trust In through the turn of times I have waited for my whole life If you could see through my eyes You would know Leaving again Violence of change ensues Facing unknown Growing fear consumes Vague memories From many dreams ago Thought that we'd be further by now In through the turn of times once again And I've waited for my whole life for no change If you could see through my eyes You would know

about

This is my debut album. It was written in its entirety by the time I was 17, and slowly recorded and brought to fruition over the following 3 years.

Chimera features drastic changes in dynamics, genre, and mood. It is truly an abandoned project, but one that I am very proud of. I hope you enjoy!
